Cresleigh Homes History

With an undergraduate degree in civil engineering from U. C. Berkeley and a Master of Science degree from MIT, Lawrence Lui launched Cresleigh Homes Corporation in 1991. Cresleigh has been constructing new homes in the Sacramento Metropolitan Area continuously since.

Following three years of successful homebuilding throughout the Sacramento region, Cresleigh Homes expanded into the Arizona market in 1994. Our entry into the Texas market followed in 2012 and we continue to create exciting and successful new communities in both states.

In 2012, Cresleigh Homes entered the multi-family housing market with Adora, a luxury townhome community in Roseville, California followed by Towpath in Napa. In 2015, Cresleigh’s next multifamily community, Pearl Creek was constructed, also in Roseville, followed by Garnet Creek in Rocklin, California and HUB in Folsom, California.

In 2017, from a list of potential developers, Cresleigh was selected by the Capitol Area Development Agency (CADA) to construct a new, high-profile condominium building at the corner of 14th and N Street. This new project is located directly across from the California State Capitol Park and marks an exciting expansion into urban homebuilding.

In 2019, Cresleigh continued it’s trend of seeking out urban, transit-oriented sites and acquired 2918 Mission making it the first San Francisco project for the company.
